Suicide and gun violence affects everyone in our communities, including the church. Many churches have responded with their own resources or in partnership with a few other churches. We can raise the level and scope of the conversation and involvement by including pastors, youth & family educators, and adult volunteers in our local churches who want to be involved but don’t know how.
Dan Adams at Sources of Strength facilitate a “roundtable” conversation on celebrating and normalizing strengths including how to work together to make our communities stronger, healthier, and grow resilience among our teens and adults. Topics of discussion include peer leadership and training, faith and liturgical resources for
churches, and community partnership.
