Central Presbyterian Church is hosting HOT SUMMER TOPICS
For the month of June on Wednesday nights, Central Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a community-wide conversation about current controversial cultural topics in a safe and non-judgmental environment. We will begin each night by agreeing to abide by common guidelines for the way we conduct our conversation, listen to a speaker with experience regarding the issue of the night, break into smaller groups so all might offer insights and listen deeply to one another, and end our night with a speak-out into the larger group. We do not naively hope to solve these issues so much as to open ourselves to more information and deepen our reflection on these important issues that affect so many of us.
