You and a guest are invited to a gathering of celebration, friendship and joy in this Advent Season for all Ministers, Certified Christian Educators, Commissioned Ruling Elders, Candidates and Inquirers and their guests. It will be a time for great barbecue from Jim ‘N Nick’s, including pulled pork, beef brisket, and pecan pie. It will offer a way to hear the story of African Americans, their food and their gifts, from Adrian Miller, award-winning author of Soul Food:  The Surprising Story of an American Cuisine, One Plate at a Time and the Executive Director of the Colorado Council Churches. 

WHEN: Thursday, December 8, 2016
Gather at 11:30 a.m. at the Presbytery of Denver Center
Lunch served at 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $18 per person, by check
