John Philip Newell

John Philip Newell is an internationally respected spiritual leader, peacemaker, and scholar. A former warden of the Iona Abbey in the Western Isles of Scotland, his work mines the treasures of Celtic spirituality. He is the acclaimed author of many books, including: Listening for the Heartbeat of God and Christ of the Celts, as well as prayer books such as Praying with the Earth.

Wellshire Presbyterian Church is offering several opportunities to hear John Philip Newell speak: a Friday evening talk with book signing and cocktail hour, a Saturday morning workshop, and in two worship services on Sunday.
