POINT (Presbyterians Organized in Nurture and Teaching) is held on the front end of the APCE annual event which is in Louisville this year. POINT offers advanced training on denominational curriculum. It is amazing to me how many people attend POINT year after year. That speaks well of their appreciation of the training.
Each presbytery is allocated two seats at training and is encouraged to choose two representatives to send. These could be volunteers, pastors, presbytery staff, and educators of any stripe. The goal is for the representatives to return to the presbyteries equipped to help others make the most effective use of denominational curriculum. POINT training is free, and we provide a meal with each training segment. Unfortunately, we are not able to help with travel, hotel, and other costs.
The registration links for training are:
January 30 POINT A (Tuesday Morning 9-noon) OR
January 31 POINT B (Wednesday Morning 9-noon)
and also January 31 POINT lunch for all (noon to 2:00)
This year's training will be in the Presbyterian Center in Louisville, KY.
