The Assembly Work Group is trying a new thing in 2019. We are attempting a new model for our assemblies that combine "worshipful work" and "eat and meet". We wish to hold the meetings in space that will accommodate tables and chairs for all present so that we can eat dinner and conduct worship and business in one room. The intent is to model the Assembly after Jesus' meals with the disciples. They ate, they talked, Jesus taught, and together they worshiped God.
We have also become aware that we have unintentionally excluded those who have mobility issues. Access is restricted when the Assemblies have been held in spaces in which climbing stairs is required to eat the meal or attend the meeting. With all of this in mind, we have had to reconsider the previously chosen sites, with particular concern for those with mobility issues. We are grateful to the North Highland Church for their willingness to host the May Assembly meeting, but accessibility issues dictate that the location must be changed. This was a painful decision, and we offer our sincere apology to North Highland. The May meeting will be held at Arvada Presbyterian, to whom we give thanks for their willingness to host the Assembly on short notice.
The Assembly Work Group is responsible for the selection of host churches where the meetings may be conducted efficiently, comfortably, hospitably, and where all who attend the meeting feel welcome. In all that we do in Jesus' name, we covet your prayers.

We will begin at 5:30 pm. The meeting will begin with a Call to Order and Prayer. Following the prayer we will share a meal together . After a time of fellowship we will be lead by Arvada PC in music, continuing us in worship and our Assembly Meeting.
