As unprecedented energy continues to grow across the PC(USA) around the Matthew 25 invitation, so does interest in additional resources and programming.
Toward that end, last year’s well-attended series of Matthew 25 programs will continue with our first online event for 2021, scheduled for Wednesday, March 24, at 2 p.m. EDT. The topic is how all three areas of the Matthew 25 focus intersect around the subject of housing. The program will include conversations with pastors on how their congregations are engaging with the issue of affordable housing in their communities. You can read more about it in a Presbyterian News Service story here.
Watch for information on forthcoming Matthew 25 events scheduled for June 23 (Hunger/Eradicating Poverty/Congregational Vitality), September 29 (Education/Dismantling Racism/Eradicating Poverty), and November 17 (Migration/Immigration).
One of the best things about Matthew 25 is that we can do ministry together in ways we cannot do alone. The new and digital ways of doing ministry have also redefined what community means. Please share this information with the congregations in the Denver Presbytery.
Thank you for your work and witness. United in our focus on serving others, truly we are the Church…together!
