Calling all churches and faith communities! We need your help!

Journey with Migrants Mission Partnership is responding to the City of Denver’s urgent calls for assistance to migrants in need arriving in Denver each day. Click here to check out the daily dashboard for real time data.

Migrant women, men, and children have traveled thousands of miles over months to arrive here. They have endured physical, mental, emotional hardships and have watched fellow migrants die on the journey. We have the opportunity to assist them in their time of dire need and help them onto the phase of life they have envisioned for themselves and their children and grandchildren.

Charles Gilford, Director of Regional Affairs & Migrant Emergency Services, Mayor’s Office, City and County of Denver has hosted online meetings asking for immediate assistance from metro Denver faith leaders. He lists needs:

  1. Temporary Shelter

  2. Volunteers

  3. Donations

Journey with Migrants is facilitating a coordinating call/zoom meeting with Denver Presbytery churches. We need representatives from ALL churches to participate so we can network and plan our joined efforts.

Mark your calendars for  Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 11 AM to 12 PM to join us to coordinate efforst to help those coming to Denver.

Finally, please consider a donation to Journey with Migrants and/or designating your local portion of The Pentecost Special Offering to Journey with Migrants.
