Interim Pastor, Brighton, CO

First Presbyterian Church of Brighton is seeking applicants for a 12 month full time Transitional Pastor position. Particular Tasks for the Transitional Pastor include providing pastoral care and services to the congregation; analyzing our existing congregational systems, helping examine any particular challenges, and assisting us in creating strategies for improvement; helping our congregation discover its opportunities and alternatives for ministry; and facilitating and supporting community engagement.  Previous experience with transitional ministry and interim training are required.

We are a congregation that is Christ centered, believing that everything about us should model the life and love of Jesus Christ. We strive to courageously love all of God's children, erring on the side of love, inclusion, welcome and hospitality. We are a church that is willing to pour itself out to join God in healing the world. We welcome diverse opinions, experiences, and perspectives. Such diversity can cause theological tension. We believe that where such theological tensions arise, so long as they don't conflict with our Christ Centeredness, we must be willing to bear that tension in love, listening to, learning from, and being changed by the diversity we value.

To apply for the position, please visit our MDF on Church Leadership Connection.  Applications are due by October 10, 2025.
