Join Us for a Special Called Presbytery Assembly

You are invited to a brief Special Called Presbytery Assembly on Tuesday, December 2nd at noon, held exclusively on Zoom. This meeting will be short and focused, with two primary actions before the body:

1. Election of Commissioners to the 227th General Assembly
Upon recommendation from the Servant Leadership Development Committee (SLDC), the Presbytery will act on the following slate:

• Commissioner – Ruling Elder: Beth Carlisle (Wellshire)

• Commissioner – Ruling Elder: Cleve Dixon (St. Paul)

  • Alternate – Ruling Elder: Pamela Jones (St. Paul)

• Commissioner – Teaching Elder: Kiersten Hill (Wellshire)

• Commissioner – Teaching Elder: Raafat Girgis (APIC – NWC)

  • Alternate – Teaching Elder: Whitney Dempsey (Community of Grace)

• Young Adult Advisory Delegate (YAAD): Grace Blackstock (Wellshire)

2. Loan Guarantee Recommendation
The Visionary Leadership Commission recommends that the Presbytery of Denver guarantee a $700,000 PILP 20-year loan for Eagle River Presbyterian Church as a bridge loan connected to their capital campaign for pastoral housing.

From our bylaws: A quorum of the Presbytery shall be any ten teaching elder members and as many ruling elder members as may be present, provided that at least four churches are represented by ruling elders.

We will be using Zoom for voting. Instructions will be given during the meeting. Registration is required to receive a link to join the meeting.
