The Presbytery of Denver will host an MHFA training session on Thursday, November 17th, this is an introduction to that course. It is free of charge and open to individuals and congregational teams.
Learn about certifying, to become a compassionate first responder through Mental Health First Aid. This session will help you identify if you want to increase your mental health literacy and skills.
- You will be given sample experiences of the day-long training.
- Get tips about how to form a team from your congregation to certify together.
- Very lively discussion - you will leave motivated to move ahead in your thinking about mental health as it relates to your congregation, your committees and ministerial groups, your community and perhaps even, your family.
