“Roots and Wings:  A Multicultural Celebration of our Origins and Faith”

Join us on April 16th at First Presbyterian Church of Aurora with members of the Presbytery who possess all kinds of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, speak varieties of languages, worship in different styles, and may hold all kinds of beliefs and positions but are all Presbyterian!  How do we do that?  How do we stay in relationship and also hold mutual respect among ourselves and in our churches?  Come, learn, worship and celebrate together. It will be a joyous time of understanding and affirmation.  

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Raafat Girgis, pastor of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles.  A festive part of the celebration will be potluck lunch to taste diverse foods from different continents.

The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at 1:30 p.m.
