Lunch Time Workshop - Supporting You in Your Ministry

  • The Presbytery of Denver 1710 S. Grant Street Denver, CO, 80203 United States

Following the Compassion Fatigue Workshop, the Committee On Ministry continues their ongoing commitment to support the Clergy of the Denver Presbytery, by creating opportunities for Clergy to grow in health in their personal lives and in their ministries.

Over the next several months, Dee Cooper, will be offering lunchtime mini-workshops for the clergy of the presbytery. We will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Presbytery Office.  It is casual, bring your own lunch.

Join us Wednesday, April 20th at 12 p.m., as we talk about Integrity.

We are living in a political climate where it is challenging, to say the least, to know what to believe.  We wonder whose “spin” is the less skewed, what hidden agendas are not being spoken, what facts are reliable? Such a climate seems to offer the world permission that it’s okay to lie, to fudge, to withhold, and to deceive. Yet, each of us longs for the opposite, someone who is living in integrity. Is living in integrity just ensuring I tell the truth or is it much more?  What about expressing what I feel? Or honoring my agreements, even the little ones? We will create a thoughtful and wonderful exploration with how do I know if I am in integrity?  James and John remind us of living where your words matching your actions.
