You are invited to celebrate God’s faithfulness to Denise Shannon.  Denise Shannon received a call to a church in Plains and Peaks Presbytery. They have already examined her for ministry and asked that we ordain her in Denver Presbytery where she has been on a journey to become a Minister of Word and Sacrament. She will be ordained at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 4:00 pm.  The Reverend John Anderson (Trinity PC) will bring the message. Dr. Wanda Beaumann (Peoples PC) will Moderate, Elder Kathy Frank (First Golden PC), and Elder Amy Dempsey (Trinity PC),  and Rev. Mimi Dixon (Honorably Retired), Rev. Whit Dempsey (First Georgetown PC), Beth Hewlett (Commissioned Lay Pastor) from our Presbytery will participant in the service as Denise’s commission.

This special service provides an opportunity to witness how the whole Presbyterian Church (USA) functions as the Body of Christ to support our Committee on Preparation for Ministry Candidate. Come and celebrate this milestone in Denise’s life.
