Seasons of Justice: The Enduring Legacies of Slavery in America

  • Blair-Caldwell Library 2401 Welton Street Denver, CO, 80205 United States (map)

Peoples Presbyterian Church is launching an ongoing discussion and action gathering called Seasons of Justice, where we will join with community partners to examine, learn, grow, and engage in issues of social (in)justice in pursuit of a whole and just world.

Our series for 2020 is What Does it Mean to Be American? Topic 2:

THE ENDURING LEGACIES OF SLAVERY IN AMERICA

Discussion by Dr. Sharon Bailey Program Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion | Denver Public Schools

February 10, 2020 | Food 5 PM | Discussion 530-745 PM | Blair-Caldwell Library Food

Childcare available

I hope this can be an opportunity for Presbyterians to connect with many others outside our church walls and even faith tradition, and discover and celebrate the movement of Christ's Spirit of justice, compassion, and peace.
