The FuTure of Faith and Finance

Join fellow Presbyterians for a morning of worship, connection and collaboration as together we look ahead to a faithful future for our congregations and renewed energy for your ministry.

Saturday, September 14, 2024
10 AM - 3 PM
Covenant Presbyterian DTC
5400 S. Yosemite St. Greenwood Village, CO 80111

Lunch will be provided. Please register below no later than September 6th.

As we gather, John Wilkinson, Director of Ministry Engagement and Support, will explore trends in the church and culture, considering the contexts in which we are called to serve and the challenges and opportunities we face. We will engage biblical and theological touchstones that will help ground and inspire our common ministry.

There will also be 2 Workshops that will be offered so that everyone can participate in both:

Workshop 1:  An interactive space to consider how your congregation tells its stewardship story by focusing on creativity and causes that drive your witness in God’s world. Lauren Rogers, Ministry Engagement Advisor and Wilson Kennedy, Associate Director for Special Offerings and Appeals will teach and guide conversation among participants, plus share a sneak peek of the new churchwide Special Offerings which begin in 2026. You will leave with a new appreciation for the evolving nature of the offering plate and ideas to bring back to your congregation!

Workshop 2: Also an interactive space to consider the interrelationships and challenges of Finances and Stewardship. René Myers, Associate Director for Ministry Engagement Advisors, will help you to explore the tensions in these two disciplines and share some insights for discussion around giving motivations and promotion.
