FOR PASTORAL LEADERS
Courageously Conspiring Together
The Denver Presbytery is thrilled to announce the Pentecost Preaching Collaboratorium, a groundbreaking initiative designed to unite pastoral leaders across our congregations and New Worshiping Communities. Join us for this three-week collaborative preaching series during the Pentecost season, where we will explore and amplify a shared theme of courage, justice, and the Spirit’s transformative work.
Dates: June 8, 15, 22, 2025
What is the Pentecost Preaching Collaboratorium?
Pentecost calls us into the prophetic mission of the Church, a time to celebrate the Spirit’s power to unite and transform communities. This initiative reflects the Presbytery’s commitment to collaboration, creativity, and generative leadership by bringing pastoral leaders together to preach on the shared 2025 theme, “Courageously Conspiring Together.”
This preaching series will equip clergy to address pressing issues like anti-racism, justice, and reconciliation, providing tools and peer support to inspire transformative action within congregations and beyond.
Why Participate?
Foster unity across Denver Presbytery by preaching a common theme.
Gain shared resources and support from peers.
Deepen engagement with prophetic preaching as a tool for faithful action.
Explore how the Spirit is calling us to respond to Matthew 25’s challenge of dismantling racism and embracing justice.
Who Should Join?
Pastoral leaders from congregations and New Worshiping Communities who value collaboration and prophetic preaching are invited. Pastors who have attended the "Prophetic Preaching" workshop are especially encouraged to participate.
