Your response matters. Health clinics. Fire departments. Schools. Even roads and highways. The census can shape many different aspects of your community. Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year. The results determine how many seats in Congress each state gets. It's mandated by the U.S. Constitution in Article 1, Section 2: The U.S. has counted its population every 10 years since 1790.

Go to 2020census.gov today and fill out the form using your personal ID that you received in the mail.

If you have trouble using your computer or filling out the form on line, call 844–330-2020 to fill it out with a human Census worker. Census data is used for everything from congressional and state legislative redistricting to funding for vital economic supports that help make sure kids get enough to eat and people can afford to see their doctor. It is approximately $2300 per person, including babies.
