Iliff School of Theology Presents A Public Lecture and Q & A ON THE DESIRE FOR OTHERS: THE INTELLECTUAL CENTRALITY OF BELONGING

Iliff School of Theology is pleased to announce that The Reverend Dr. Willie James Jennings, Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Africana Studies at Yale University Divinity School, will be presenting a public lecture (via zoom) on February 16, 2022, 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (MST).

His lecture, On the Desire for Others: The Intellectual Centrality of Belongingwill be followed by a Q & A.

Dr. Jennings, an ordained Baptist minister, is in high demand as a speaker and is widely recognized as a major figure in theological education across North America. His latest book, After Whiteness: An Education in Belonging, examines the problems of theological education within western education. Dr. Jennings was Iliff’s 2021 Commencement speaker
